Matthew McConaughey with Camila Alves and son LeviMatthew McConaughey calls his son “the fruit bandit.”

The 39-year-old actor and his partner Camila Alves, who is pregnant with their second child, came up with the unusual nickname for 14-month-old Levi because he can’t stop eating healthy foods.

Referring to 100m sprint world record holder Usain Bolt, Matthew said, “Levi is doing terrific waiting for his little bro or sis… we had to super child proof the new house because he’s motoring around like Usain Bolt—Camila and I can barely keep up. We call him the fruit bandit ‘cause if there’s fruit out, he’s on it, taking it and eating it. He’s getting bigger, more fun, smarter and craftier by the day.”

Matthew added that the whole family is excited about the new arrival, which is due at the end of the year and have started trying to guess the sex: “Above and beyond all other news, the most exciting thing is my lady Camila and I got another baby on the way… not sure if it’s a boy or girl but we have our instincts… what are you thinking?”

The “Poker Face” singer has no interest in being a judge on , insisting she would find it difficult to criticize someone else’s talent. “I did appear on the show but I am not going to be a judge. Gaga has also slammed shows that thrust new artists straight into the limelight, claiming they should spend time nurturing their talent. “It’s more about growing and struggling and playing live. It would be very uncomfortable for me to judge someone else,” she explained.

Just last week, it was announced that host Ellen DeGeneres would permanently replace Paula on the judging panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.

Pink and Shakira at the VMAs

If it hadn’t been for Kanye West’s outburst (or any one of Lady Gaga’s outfits), this could have been the most talked about moment of last night’s Video Music Awards.

Had this involved two other singers, these dresses might have remained on opposite ends of the red carpet. But Shakira and took the fashion faux pas in stride and even managed to laugh about it. (Of course, there is a stylist out there somewhere doing all the crying.)

You can also see solo pics of the two outfits after the jump.

Miley Cyrus

She may spend a lot of time on her various Internet accounts, but fans shouldn’t read too hard into what writes.

“I’m the queen of corny quotes. I Google love quotes, happy quotes, sad quotes, I just like quotes. I don’t want to write, ‘I’m eating a cookie.’ I think that could be used for so much more,” the 16-year-old said.

Although recent tweets have sparked rumors that she has rekindled her romance with underwear model , the young star insists she is too busy focusing on her career to commit to a relationship. “There are a lot of people I’m supposedly dating these days. But I’m just kicking it right now, I don’t really have time for a huge relationship. There’s no dude,” she said.

Julia Roberts was petrified when a giant rat ran over her foot while shooting her latest movie.

The actress was filming scenes in New York with her co-star James Franco when the furry rodent scuttled across her toes, causing her to scream.

“She looked down and saw the glittering eyes of a giant rat! She leapt to her feet and, even though the rat had run away, went into a wild hysterical dance on the sidewalk. She was shrieking so loudly the crew came running,” a source told National Enquirer magazine.

Julia was reportedly so upset she had to be calmed down by James, and would only continue with the scene when he promised her there were no more rats in the vicinity.

The 41-year-old actress plays Elizabeth Gilbert in the movie, a woman who realizes she is not satisfied with her life and goes on a round-the-world trip. The film is based off the best-selling book of the same name.
